Chef Steve Vining visits Oconee County High
Our Executive Chef Steve Vining recently visited Oconee County High School as part of the American Culinary Federation’s “Chef 2 Kids” program.
Chef spoke with Consumer Science students about the importance of making healthy food choices for long term health, and he demonstrated that choosing to eat foods that are good for you can also taste great with a quick lesson on smoothies (sweetened with honey instead of sugar!).

Soup Fest is Almost Here!
The 3rd Annual Classic City Soup Fest is here! Brought to you by the Classic City Chefs (American Culinary Federation, Athens Chapter), Soup Fest is a city-wide soup cook-off to raise money for the United Way and Project Safe! From 11am-2pm, enjoy live music as you taste freshly prepared soups from some of Athens’ premier restaurants and local chefs (including the Athens Country Club, Heirloom Café, La Dolce Vita, and more!).
